Peter Grant trained with the DHL Stormers this morning, fresh from a sojourn in Japan.
“It’s great to be back with the boys and in the sun.” said the bearded and notably untanned flyhalf. “Japan took me out of my comfort zone and afforded me an opportunity to immerse myself in a completely new culture. I loved the people, the place and the food. The rugby was great as well, but it is good to be back. I played both 10 and 15 and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a person and player I have definitely grown.”
Coach Allister Coetzee has said that he will not hesitate to select Peter in this week’s opener against the Lions. “I am feeling good and really looking forward to playing in front of the Faithful with the Stormers again. Being away you realise what you miss!” added Grant.
