Habana, Blaauw back for Vodacom Stormers

PUBLISHED: May 12, 2010

Allister Coetzee, head coach of the Vodacom Stormers, on Wednesday announced his team to play the Vodacom Bulls at Newlands on Saturday 15 May in the last league match of the 2010 Vodacom Super 14. Kick-off is at 17h05.

Gates open at 15h00 and supporters are urged to get to the stadium early as the match is a sell out.

Coetzee brought back fullback Joe Pietersen to the starting line-up after the latter started on the bench against the Sharks in Durban last week.

He replaces Gio Aplon, who moves to right wing in place of Sireli Naqelevuki. The big Fijian wing drops out of the match 22 altogether, with Tim Whitehead prefered on the bench.

Bryan Habana is also back in the starting line-up after missing the match in the Shark Tank due to injury. Habana takes over from Whitehead.

In the final change to the team, prop Wicus Blaauw also makes a comeback from injury. He takes over from JD Moller at loosehead. Moller also is not part of the match squad, with versatile Argentinean Eusebio Guinazu covering the prop positions.
