It ended in a 25-20 loss for the DHL Stormers in the rain at the Tank, but only the second loss of the season and bonus point for finishing within 7, sees the DHL Stormers still atop the SA Conference log.

The Stormers lost another loose-forward in Siya Kolisi who was ruled out before the start of the game. Deon Fourie played his 50th game on the flank with Skarra Ntubeni covering hooker from the bench.

The Sharks held the advantage in the first half going into the shed 20-6 up, on the halftime whistle. The Stormers fought back well in the second half however, with 2 Gio Aplon tries to claim a losing bonus point, but could not squeeze out another win.

Next week the DHL Stormers travel to Loftus to play the Bulls.
