Kobus Van Der Merwe, head coach of the Vodacom Stormers, on Wednesday announced his team to play the Vodacom Bulls at Newlands on Saturday 13 May. Kick-off is at 17h00.

Vodacom WP plays the Fidentia Boland Cavaliers in a Vodacom Cup curtain raiser match at 14h45.

Van der Merwe made two changes to the side.

The only change to pack is at hooker, where Schalk Brits is back in place of Hanyani Shimange. Shimange started last week against the Sharks in Durban after Brits was forced to withdraw due to a bout of the flu.

Shimange reverts back to the substitutes bench, with Aussie Huia Edmunds dropping out of the 22.

In the other change Chumani Booi gets a start at wing in place of Rayno Benjamin, who will be on the bench.

Vodacom Stormers scrumhalves Neil De Kock and Bolla Conradie are both on 49 caps and should receive their 50th Stormers caps on Saturday.
