With the 2013 Vodacom Super Rugby season just days away, the DHL Stormers will head into the season with a new-look website – bringing you, the reader, an improved web experience on every level.
We at the DHL Stormers are continually striving to improve our relationship with you, the Faithful, and if we could – we would have you on the field with us! Since that is not possible we have instead focused our efforts on advancing the digital mediums with which we interact with you.
This leads us to the fantastic news that we have updated our website! There is more of everything, at your fingertips; more interaction, videos, pics, news, stats, info and rugby. Not to mention the websites clean and vibrant new look. If you wish to comment on an article on Allister Coetzee’s new hairstyle, then fire away – you can even share your views on Facebook.
Explore the vast locker room of player profiles, where you can not only see the number of times a player has donned our new royal blue jersey, but also get their Twitter details and tweet up a storm with them!
See what Club Newlands is up to in our Fanzone or if you enjoy viewing us in action on the DHL Newlands turf, check out the tons of pics we have in our galleries. If pictures aren’t enough for you and you need a bit more then Stormers TV should be right up your alley. You can view all our YouTube videos on it, just one click away!
Hold on, there’s more, don’t lose concentration just yet. We have pioneered sport journalism in South Africa by bringing out the first digital sports team magazine, titled Stormers Magazine. If you have not seen it yet, we have thoughtfully added a link to it on the new website.
There is so much more that we could tell you, but just like we enjoy exploring new heights, we encourage you to journey over to the new website and check it out, maybe tweet one of us and tell us what you think!
Our brothers over at WP Rugby will soon get a similar facelift and don’t think we are done yet, we will, as always, continually update and improve this website, and bring together our other digital mediums – Facebook, Twitter and Youtube – so that you can be part of our culture.
