Vodaocm Stormers winger Chumani Booi and massuer Greg Daniels got a first hand taste of Aussie Rules “Footy”.
The duo attended the season-opening clash between Perth’s West Coast Eagles and St Kilda from Melbourne at the Subiaco Oval on Thursday night.
The match was played in front of a capacity crowd of around 40 000.
“It was a very different experience,” said Chumani. “Greg and I did not know much about the rules, but it was a great atmosphere. We mixed with the local fans and had a great time”.
“Subi” is the largest “footy” oval in Australia and the Eagles were in the Grand Final in 2005.
