Ex Lions and current Saracens hooker, Ethienne Reyneke, is training with the DHL Stormers. Reyneke is here on loan as hooker cover for the injured Tiaan Liebenberg who suffered a longish term pre-season knee injury.

Reyneke is 28 and has 20 Super Rugby caps. Coach Allister Coetzee confirmed he would like to see him in action in the Vodacom Cup before pulling him into a Stormers 22. DHL WP take on Namibia on Friday and it is likely he will feature for 40 minutes.

Reyneke who played behind Schalk Brits at Saracens, joins current no 2’s Deon Fourie and Siyabonga Ntubeni adding depth.
