BACK TO TEAM
Ryno Eksteen

The talented playmaker, a Craven Week and SA Schools representative in 2012, has had a rough time of it with injuries since joining the Western Province Rugby Institute in 2013.

Despite missing basically an entire year due to a knee injury (in 2013), he found himself in the DHL Stormers mix at the start of 2014, making his Vodacom Super Rugby debut against the Lions before injury cruelly intervened yet again.

Comfortable at either flyhalf or fullback, Eksteen was named DHL Western Province Under-21 Back of the year in 2015 as part of the team coached by Rob Fleck which notched nine try-scoring bonus points on their way to the title. He will be looking to carry that form to Vodacom Super Rugby level in 2016 now that he is back to full fitness and show just why he is such a highly-rated player.
